After you climb Kilimanjaro, you may wish to relax either on safari or on the beach at either Zanzibar, Mafia or Pemba Islands, or Pangani, Bagamoyo, Kilwa or Mtwara on the mainland.
We find it is usually preferable to climb Kilimanjaro first before going on Safari. However we can arrange your trip in any order you wish. If you wish to climb a smaller mountain such as Mt Meru or Oldoinyo Lengai first as a warm up for Kilimanjaro then we can easily arrange this for you.
There are also several other mountains that may interest you, from the active volcano Oldoinyo Lengai to the lush forested mountains of the Eastern Arc. The diversity and abundance of flora and fauna in Tanzania is unparalleled in Africa.
After climbing Kilimanjaro you may wish to visit the Northern circuit: Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Arusha or Tarangire National Parks. Alternatively the beautiful south is still an option including Selous, Ruaha and Udzungwa.
